元朗區體育會 - Yuen Long Sports Association 元朗區體育會 - Yuen Long Sports Association - 「元朗區體育會」之成立，遠溯至一九五八年，由當時熱愛體育活動的地區人士發起，以提倡體育活動，促進地區友誼為宗旨。當時除聘得當任新界民政署長何禮文為贊助人，元朗理民官符禮修及鄉紳趙聿修太平紳士為顧問外，有曾森昭出任主席，梁棠、陳茂出任副主席，黃金業，趙玉全，蔡創業，梁少帆，李松，陳本信，鄭鎮滔，鄧鎮南等任籌備委員，一方面進行註冊，另一方面組織足球隊參加香港足球總會主辦之丙組聯賽，嶄露頭角，成績斐然，於一九六○年晉升甲組，而於一九六二年獲甲組聯賽冠軍，一九六五年獲甲組特別銀牌亞軍，一九六六年獲甲組金禧盃賽亞軍，
